About
Dr. The B.Ed course of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad provides the necessary skills and abilities to the teachers serving primary and secondary classes for effective learning-teaching process.
Aims to develop. The presented curriculum provides opportunities to exchange experiences with teachers. Encourages in-service teachers in schools to choose and organize their learning experiences according to the needs of students. Subsequently, they enhance their knowledge in areas like educational evaluation and school management and gain proper understanding of the same.

In-service teachers will be able to achieve the following objectives through this course.
1) To assess the experiences and develop professional skills of in-service teachers
2) To enhance the knowledge and understanding gained regarding various educational methods and approaches to organizing learning experiences of secondary school students.
3) To develop skills in selecting and integrating learning experiences.
4) Understanding the nature of the learning process
5) To develop the skills of students to solve academic and other problems.
6) To acquire knowledge and understanding of various processes and procedures of evaluation and their use in their classrooms.
7) To acquire skills regarding selection, construction and use of evaluation instruments.
8) To develop understanding of obtaining information on various aspects of school management.
9) To develop capabilities in organizing various types of teaching and support services.
10) To develop competence regarding the role of education in the prevailing social, cultural and political systems in general and educational system in particular.

BAOU B ed Admission 2023 B.Ed. (Gujarati Medium Two Year Distance In-Service Teachers Course)
Course Total Fee : 20,000/-
Medium : Gujarati
Minimum Course Duration : Two years B.Ed.
Eligibility for Admission : PTC, D.Ed., D.EI.Ed., C.P.Ed., B.P.Ed., through Face to Face Mode from an educational institution recognized by NCTE. (Attach the certificate with NCTE code number of the institution to the entry form) as a teacher who has completed a course of at least two years full-time paid service in a government recognized primary, secondary or higher secondary school and minimum in science, commerce and arts discipline from a UGC recognized university.
50% marks and Post Graduation with 55% marks in Engineering Technical discipline as main subject Mathematics and Science subject (In- Service Teachers). Only teachers can apply for this course. (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST and differently abled students to get admission) as well as a candidate securing minimum 40% (60 out of 150) marks in the entrance examination will be admitted in order of merit.
B.Ed. (Special Education)
To become a teacher of students with intellectual disability,
visual impairment and hearing impairment recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Course of Education for

Course Total Sessions : 5 (Two and half years)
Sp.B.Ed. Eligibility for Admission : Post Graduate with minimum 50% marks in Science, Commerce and Arts stream and 35% marks in Engineering Technical stream as main subject Mathematics and Science (relaxation of 5% marks for admission to SC/ST and disabled students) GENERAL DETAILS FOR APPLICATION : Filling the application form for admission by taking E-PIN from the university website only if the given eligibility criteria for admission are met.
The E-PIN for filling the application form can be obtained from the University website from 22/09/2023 at a cost of Rs.700/-. Complete details filled online by 22/10/2023 in person with necessary documents or hard copy from Reg.AD to 27710/2023 in University office hours will be accepted. યુનિવર્સિટી દ્વારા ePIN ની વ્યવસ્થા ઉભી કરવામાં આવેલ છે. જેના દ્વારા વિદ્યાર્થી સેન્ટર/ યુનિવર્સિટીખાતે માહિતી પુસ્તિકા લઇ શકે તેમ નથી તે વિદ્યાર્થીએ પ્રવેશ ફોર્મ ભરવા માટે ePIN લઈને પ્રવેશ ફોર્મ ભરી શકાશે. ePINથી પ્રવેશ ફોર્મ ભરવા માંગતા વિદ્યાર્થીએ www.baou.edu.in ની વેબસાઈટ પરથી માહિતી પુસ્તિકા મેળવવાની રહેશે.
ePIN મેળવવા માટેના સ્ટેપ નીચે મુજબ છે.
ePIN ની લિંક પર ક્લિક કરી રજીસ્ટ્રેશન કરવાનું રહેશે.
રજીસ્ટ્રેશનમાં કોર્ષ પસંદ કરીને વિદ્યાર્થીએ પૂરું નામ, મોબાઇલ અને Email ID ની વિગત ભરવાની રહેશે.
ePINની ફી ભર્યા બાદ તેની પહોચ ડાઉનલોડ કરી પ્રવેશ ફોર્મ સાથે જોડવાની રહેશે.
હાલ બીએડ.સ્પે.માં પ્રવેશ HI પૂરતા સીમિત રહેશે.Right now the admission in B.Ed Spl will be limited to HI
