Subject: “Bridge Course – ClassReadiness: Gyansetu Program” for students of Std. 1 to 10. Regarding the above subject and context, it should be mentioned that last year due to Corona epidemic, students were given study work under “Home Learning”.

The Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education conducted a “Home Learning” program through Doordarshan Kendra DD Girnar, Byseg’s Vande Gujarat Channel, YouTube, WhatsApp, Gujarat Virtual School (GVS) as well as Home Learning Literature. You are all well aware that the new academic session will start from 7th June 2021.
The study of this Gyansetu literature will be done by the state government during the first month of this new academic session. The “Bridge Course – ClassReadiness: Gyansetu Program” literature has been prepared by incorporating the understanding / repetition / rehearsal of the standard learning curriculum in the form of bridge course as well as the current year’s standard curriculum. “Bridge Course – ClassReadiness: Gyansetu Program for Gyansetu Sahitya Std. 1, Class Readiness for Std. 2,3 – Gujarati, Mathematics, Gujarati for Std.

This literature will be delivered to the students of Std. 1 to 10 of government primary and secondary schools of the state as well as KGBV, Model, Model Day, Ashram schools by Gujarat State School Textbook Board by 07 June 2021. Softcopies will also be placed on the website of the entire education office.
From 7th to 9th June 2021, training on “Bridge Course ClassReadiness: Gyansetu” for Std. 1 to 10 teachers will be organized through Bayseg and MS teams in collaboration with GCERT and Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. Students from Std. 1 to 10 across the state will be given one month of study work using this “Bridge Course – ClassReadiness: Gyansetu Program” material.

Students of Std. 1 to 10 will also have to use last year’s textbooks in the study of this material. Students of Std-1 to 5 will have to do writing work in this material. As well as students from Std-6 to 10 will have to make a separate notebook. “Bridgecourse ClassReadiness: Gyansetu” written by the student will be verified by the teacher friends after the completion of the program.
So that the teacher can know the learning level of the students as well as the things they have studied and give the necessary guidance to the students. “School Readiness” literature has been prepared for students getting admission in standard 1 from June 2021. Children of Std. 1 are requested to try to get involved in the study work with the help of parents/elder siblings/teachers. Ta. From June 10, 2021, the students will be guided through the Doordarshan Kendra – DD Girnar channel for the program “Bridge Course – Class Readiness: Gyansetu”.
The educational broadcast will be viewed on the Vande Gujarat channel.The Gyansetu Sahitya will be uploaded on the Diksha platform and the entire Shiksha, Gandhinagar website and the link will be regularly sent to the WhatsApp group in the same way as it was delivered to the students through WhatsApp last year. All teachers, parents and students of Lai Primary, Upper Primary and Secondary School are requested to inform about this matter.
