Agatyna Paripatr of education department of Gujarat. Important Paripatr for primary and secondary school and teachers.
After the implementation of new curriculum and syllabus in primary education in the state, new approaches have been adopted where students can do self-study as well as become creators of knowledge. For this, the responsibility of preparing the students in multiple ways also remains with the survey conductors of the education sector.
This self-study textbook is designed to complement the textbook with multiple goals that allow students to self-study, repeat what they have learned, evaluate it ideally, determine issues for remedial learning as needed, and guide students individually as needed. Attempts have been made to supplement the material included here in the five sequences and activities based on study findings.
Self-study textbooks will also be helpful to teachers to process the state-accepted school holistic assessment (SCE) as well as to properly assess student development. At this stage, I would like to congratulate all the experts who have worked on the writing, editing, reviewing and composing of this self-study book based on their knowledge and experience with the students at the center.
Attempts have been made to make this self-study book flawless. However, teachers, parents as well as other educators are keen to evaluate the effectiveness of this self-study book. Suggestions are received from them to make the Yayanpot better, as well as their fingerprints are welcome if any defect is noticed.
Emphasis is placed on the ideology and skills of students all over the world. Not only that but it has become an integral part of the entire education process. Understanding, application as well as re-creation is finding the place of culture in the existing education process.
Therefore, in this self-study book, the proportion of memory based questions has been kept low and thought based and understanding based questions have been specially included. The answers to such questions are to be given to the students by the teachers or parents so that they can reason and find the answers. The process of finding the answer will make the students learn.
In some places, questions have been formulated according to the need for consolidation. The motivation of the teacher / guardian seems to be important for the students here. After the implementation of the Right to Education Act 2009, there is a need to think critically about the curriculum and assessment devices of the students. As well as each student taking into account the various suggestions outlined in NCF 2005 Excellence in the subject is also to be kept in mind.
The author of the self-study book has taken full note of the above matters. The uniqueness of the literature given in the self-study book is that it also accepts the different responses of the students. In addition to the details in the students’ textbook, teachers and parents have to think between the lines in the textbook and so on, thinking, reading and receiving information beyond their textbook.
This is to provide inspiration and study materials to the students through various mediums. The National Education Policy 2020 emphasizes study findings. Given these study findings, the process of expected change in students will find the right direction. National level surveys such as this self-study book (NAS) are expected to help our students to express themselves.
