Distance learning as a correspondence education in systemic / chivalu institutions started it politely and used only printed material as a medium of instruction.  Distance learning is now entrenched in independent autonomous institutions such as universities that offer open education through mass media.  

 

Distance learning, which was supplemented and supplemented by systemic institutions, has today evolved into an alternative and almost parallel learning tool.  With the advancement in communication and educational technology and the development of distance education as a whole, education for all, equality and quality has been achieved.  Distance education today has great power to satisfy the educational needs and wants of all those individuals.

 

Multimedia can be used to educate students in schools, colleges and even at home.  Effective teaching of various subjects can be given by presenting movies, pictures or charts with sound.  Now there are softwares available in the market that children can use to get education on their own. 

 

 

 ‘Combined use of media like film, picture, slide and music is called Multi Media.  ‘From time immemorial till today many means of communication have developed.  Any means by which a message can be conveyed from one place to another is called medium.  

 

These mediums also provide us with entertainment and information, including picture books, magazines, newspapers, movies, radio, photography, etc.  Integrates two or more media in multimedia so that the media can be realized more effectively.  The commuter becomes a very useful tool for integrating different mediums and using them simultaneously. 

 

 

 We must have all the information and knowledge about our environment and stop it from being published.  What is our environment for this?  What is the relationship between the environment and human beings?  Knowing that is called multi-medium.
