A new scheme has been launched by the concerned authorities of the Gujarat government to help the understudies of the state get an electrical vehicle free of cost. In this article, we will share with all of you the details of the new system which has been launched by the concerned authorities of Gujarat government to give electrical vehicles to the students of the state.
The Gujarat understudies will be getting subsidy on the e-scooters that they will be buying in the Gujarat state. A lot of benefits will also be provided. we have mentioned eligibility criteria, benefits, objectives, and all of the other details regarding the Gujarat Two Wheeler Scheme. We have also mentioned a step by step application procedure for the scheme.

The application form has to be submitted by the dealer after selecting the manufacturer and model.Assistance in this regard Rs. 12000 per vehicle
It will be credited to the bank account of the eligible student by GEDA as per the terms of the scheme.
Authorized manufacturer models of vehicles, maximum prices, and where their dealer information will be available From GEDA website (Gujarat Energy Development Agency).
●Only battery-operated vehicles can be purchased through this scheme.
●About 10 thousand vehicles will be provided under two-wheeler scheme
●The assistance received through this scheme is twelve thousand rupees.
●Up to Rs 5,000 subsidy will be given in the scheme of electric rickshaw
●About five thousand vehicles will be provided under this scheme
●Battery powered electric rickshaws can be purchased under this scheme
A. For purchase of low speed battery operated two wheelers:
1. Application form with complete details in duplicate
(One copy to be kept by dealer for record)
2. Bonafide Certificate (Original/Colored Scan Copy) for academic year 2020-21
with details of standard/year of study, photograph, outward no. & date
OR
Self-Certified Copy of mark sheet of last exam passed.
3. Self-Certified copy of Student’s Adhar Card
B. For purchase of high speed battery operated two wheelers:
1. Application form with complete details in duplicate
(one copy may be kept by dealers for record)
2. Bonafide Certificate (Original) for academic year 2020-21 with details of
standard/year of study, photograph, outward no. & date
OR
Self-Certified Copy of mark sheet of last exam passed.
3. Self-Certified copy of Student’s Adhar Card
4. Self-Certified copy of Student’s Driving License (Compulsory)
Note: Applications with Incomplete details/documents will be rejected outrightly.
