FOOD SECURITY ALLOWANCE SEP-OCT. 2020

In the current extraordinary circumstances of the prevailing epidemic of Novel Corona Virus (COVID.19), the new academic year has started with the instructions of Unlock-II issued by the Government of India and the resolution dated 05/06/2020 mentioned in the preamble of the Education Department of the Government of Gujarat 🙁 1)  However, students registered during the HOME LEARNING period for49 school days from September 2020 and October 2020 (from 1/3/2020 to 9/10/2050 until the start of Diwali vacation) are not allowed to attend school.  
During this period, it has been decided to provide food security allowance under the mid-day meal scheme.  Pursuant to the decision taken by the State Government to promote the system of cooking cost and distribution of foodgrains, as stated in the resolution of the Department of Education dated 14/12/2020 mentioned in the introduction (2), from 1/09/2020 to28/10/2020.  
For the period of 49 school days till the start of Diwali vacation, all the students registered in all the schools/institutions covered under the mid-day meal scheme of the new academic year 2020-21, September 2020 will be given school food for 49 days.  The government has done.  (A copy of which is included), as per the above resolution, every student of the state has to be given Food Security Allowance as under,

All the registered primary school students who are implementing the mid-day meal scheme will have to send the daily details of the distribution of foodgrains on a daily basis and the amount of cooking cost in the prescribed form to the email here.  As well as the number of foodgrains distributed daily and the amount deposited in the bank account of the student/guardian will have to be given in the prescribed specimen form shown here on Google Drive on the email address here.  
Accounts at the school and taluka/district level shall be kept up to date for the purpose of audit.  
The distribution of foodgrains from the number of foodgrains allotted in the third and fourth quarters of the year 2020-21 by the Government of India for the mid-day meal scheme shall be completed within the time limit as prescribed by the district level for the distribution of foodgrains.  
The school level has to ensure that he is not deprived of the allowance.  And Mamlatdar Shri Deputy Collector (M.B.Yo.) and District Primary Education Officer will have to monitor this.  If more than the allotted quantity of grain is required for distribution, the quantity can be obtained from the allotment of the third and fourth quarters.

In addition, as per the provisions of the National Food Security Act 2013 and Mid-day Meal Scheme Rule 2015, this work has to be completed within the time limit, District / Taluka office has to supervise this matter and every school is inspected as per prescribed inspection pattern.  That will have to be planned at the district level.  This matter is requested to be given top priority.
