Vocational Education Gujarat is executing the plan of Vocationalisation of School Education under the umbrella of ‘Samagra Shiksha – a coordinated plan for school training’, a Centrally Sponsored Scheme. The plan tries to incorporate professional training with general scholarly schooling with a mean to get ready instructed, employable and cutthroat human asset for different areas of the economy and the worldwide market.

The plan covers Government and supported schools Under this plan Samagra Shiksha, Gujarat is giving openness to professional instruction to understudies of Classes ninth to twelfth with an expect to give freedoms to the understudies to situate themselves with the abilities needed for the different occupations in an area.
Samagra Shiksha, Gujarat is executing Vocational Education Program for understudies of Standard ninth to twelfth Studying in Govt. Auxiliary and Senior Secondary School of the state. At first the program began in the year 2017 out of 20 endorsed government higher auxiliary schools.
In the Academic year 2019-20 it has been extended to cover 102 additional schools in this manner taking the inclusion to 122 schools. It is proposed to begin Vocational training to 138 new schools in the State. This will take the range of Vocational Education program to 260 Schools.
Under Vocational Education segment of ‘Samagra Shiksha’, NSQF agreeable professional courses are instructed to the understudies from class ninth to twelfth.
