In case of vacancy in government and non-government aided secondary and higher secondary schools covered under Mission Schools of Excellence or any teacher is on leave for a period of more than two months with prior approval, the District Education Officer may call for the list of knowledge assistants to the entire Shiksha Kachari, Gandhinagar. It has to be done.
Working hours
Custodian based knowledge assistants stay in school during working days during school hours as well as extra time beyond academic hours as needed for remedial I teaching, assessment, training. All kinds of educational and co-curricular activities including home learning have to be done.
Contract period
The period of work of the knowledge assistants shall be 11 (eleven) months (excluding vacation), the contract shall be considered automatically canceled on completion of the period of eleven months.
