The role of distance learning.  The characteristics of communication seen in
real teaching;  Such as interval,
preconception, pause in the right place, ascent-descent, price-posture, vowel
etc. are not available in distant studies.
This deficiency is especially found in printed literature (written
literature).

Educational activities are
organized in remote self-study materials to connect this missing link between
the student and the teacher.  That is why
planning such activities is not optional;
But is inevitable.  Self-study is
the concept of developing the study material as an excellent tool of education
by dividing it into smaller units.

The
aim is to achieve the objectives of various fields of education through
diversification in educational activities.
Since distance learning self-study materials have to be planned keeping
in view the pre-determined educational outcome, its aims and objectives are
definite.

Moreover, since the students
are remote, this material is planned to engage them in certain study
activities.  So that the scholars can
understand the related concepts exactly.
This is also the purpose of the exercises, experiments, activities and
projects associated with the self-study material.

The example list of appropriate educational
activities for this material can be very large.
Educational activities in this regard motivate, guide and also
continuously evaluate the student’s progress and performance.

E-learning is a web-based learning process conducted by
electronic tools and technology.  In
which the student can study the study material presented on a specific
website.  Scientific institutes and
non-formal education institutes develop a website dedicated to e-learning.

Many online education institutes now conduct
teaching and testing under the e-learning education system.  Institutions that teach in the e-learning system
present the study material on their websites at regular intervals, sequentially
or simultaneously.  Some organizations
teach through Internet-based video or audio conferencing or through virtual
classrooms.

The e-learning process
usually involves associating students with geographically different
locations.  However, many scholars
believe that e-learning can be set up using local commuter network systems.
