Considering the current situation of Covid-19 in the state, physical education is closed in Std. 1 to 9 schools. Physical education is being imparted in the classrooms with 50% capacity for the students of standard 10 to 12. Online education is being conducted through various programs by the education department of the state government so that the students do not stop studying at this time.

Under the ‘Home Learning’ program, online education for Std. As part of this program, ‘Gujarat Virtual School (GVS)’ will be started from 24th January 2022, like last year, for the students of Std. 9, 10 and 11 (Commerce) as per the attached schedule.

For GVS, students will be able to join the entire education live broadcast from the YouTube channel ‘Gujarat e class’ and the Diksha portal. After the live broadcast, the recorded video will be uploaded on YouTube and Diksha portal so that it can be re-watched. Deliver this schedule to all the students in your district and ensure that maximum number of students benefit from it.

An attempt has been made in this part of the guidelines to present in a way that they may answer frequently asked questions by different stakeholders on the modalities of providing online education. In many schools across India, the MHRD has been funding computer labs, smart screens, etc. Twenty-nine States/UTs sre already onboarded DIKSHA, a digital platform.
