According to the above topic and reference, the Government of India has organized an online competition for preparation of communication material by teachers under the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020). In this regard, Aapshri is asked to encourage teachers from the district to join the online competition and send their entries. In addition, the following procedure has to be followed to select the entries from the block as well as the district level and send them to the state level:
1. The competition is organized on the following different themes:
i. Early Child Care and Education: The Foundation of Learning
il. Foundational Literacy & Numeracy: An Urgent & Necessary Prerequisite to Learning
ii. Curtailing Dropout Rates & Ensuring Universal Access to Education at All Levels
iv. Curriculum & Pedagogy in Sclvols: Learning should be Holistic Integrated, Enjoyable and Engaging
v. Teachers & Teacher Education
vi. Equitable and Inclusive Education: Learning for All
vil. Efficient Resourcing and Effective Governance Through School Complexes / Clusters
viil. Standard Setting and Accreditation for School Education
ix. Re – imaging Vocational Education
X. Adult Education
xi. Promotion of Indian Languages, Arts & Culture
xli. Online and Digital Education: Ensuring Equitable Use of Technology
2. Three types of formats have been decided for this competition. The teacher will be able to prepare the work in one of the following formats.
Duration of film-1 to 2 minutes and MP4 format,
il. Posters – 12 “X 8” size posters, l
III. Infographics – in slice or PowerPoint presentation format,
3. The competition was first held at the school level. It will be held from September 3rd to September 25th, 2020.
4. Teachers should prepare a soft copy / link of the work at the school level and send it to the district level. For this, at the district level, the primary and upper primary teachers have to send their work to the office of the district primary education officer of the district as well as the secondary and higher secondary teachers have to send the work to the office of the district education officer of their district.
5. From the district level to the office of the District Primary Education Officer as well as the District Education Officer Softcopy of all works collected by the Governor’s Office. / Link should be sent to the Principal, District Education and Training Bhavan.
6. Out of all entries (works) from school level by the Principal, District Education and Training Bhavan.
7.A total of two (2) works will have to be selected. The link of these two selected works should be sent by the State Government at GCERT, Gandhinagar in gcert12@gmail.com in MS Excel in English in the following format.
8.Write NEP Competition (district rune) in the subject of the email as well as in the name of the file. A short explanatory note in English must be attached to the selected entry.
9. Format for sending selected works by District Education and Training:
10. Out of all the works received from the district by the state level GCER. The first 10 entries selected by the state level committee will be posted on the GCERT website on Will be on display after October 15th. In addition, these 10 entries will be sent to NCERT.
11.The selected entries will be used by the Ministry of Education, New Delhi and will be deemed to have the approval of a competitor for this use.
