Subject: Online Training of Women Teachers in Physical Education as well as Community Motivation – “International Women’s Day March-2021” 

Regarding the above topic and context, The online training for physical education as well as community orientation program for female staff of all schools in the state in collaboration with the Ministry of Child Development will be organized in 3 parts from 08.03.2021 to 26.03.2021.  

Training will be imparted by an expert, which will be used to enhance the physical capacity and health of women. Who can join this online training? 

Primary school teachers who conduct activities under physical education in the school.  Conducts education as well as community orientation programs. 

Aspiring teachers and coaches will be given this training free of cost as well as 70% of trained teachers will be given certificates.  Certificate of Merit will be given to the teacher who achieves 60% in the online examination only.  Attached is the link for registration as well as the outline of the program.

Online Training of Women Teachers in Physical Education

The Fitness Program for children focuses on developing motor skills, knowledge of physical
education and Sports Skills, which is implemented and evaluated in a progressive and
developmentally appropriate manner. 
Successful participation in specific physical activities requires the acquisition and mastery of
appropriate fundamental and specialised skills (e.g. overhead strike with a racket, backhand throw
with a disc, in-step kick with a ball, front-crawl, stroke with bat/racquet, a specific step with dance
and music)
The purpose is to enable the children to demonstrate individually and in groups (with others), the
physical skills, practices and values to enjoy an active healthy lifespan.
Measuring Height Accurately
Remove the participant’s shoes, bulky clothing,
and hair ornaments, and unbraid hair that
interferes with the measurement.
Take the height measurement on flooring that is
not carpeted and against a flat surface such as a
wall with no molding. 
Have the participant stand with feet flat,
together, and back against the wall. Make sure
legs are straight, arms are at sides, and
shoulders are level.
Make sure the participant is looking straight
ahead and that the line of sight is parallel with
the floor. 
Take the measurement while the participant
stands with head, shoulders, buttocks, and heels
touching the flat surface (wall). (See illustration.)
Depending on the overall body shape of the
participant, all points may not touch the wall.
Use a flat headpiece to form a right angle with
the wall and lower the headpiece until it firmly
touches the crown of the head.
Make sure the measurer’s eyes are at the same
level as the headpiece.
