PM YASASVI Scholarship Exam 2023. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been established by Ministry of Education, as an independent/autonomous, self-reliant and self-sustained premier testing organization.

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India has formulated a scheme known as PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASASVI) for award of scholarships to eligible candidates belonging to Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC) and De-Notified, Nomadic & Semi Nomadic Tribes(DNT/S-NT) categories, (the annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs) studying in Class IX and Class XI in identified Top Schools across India.

Selection of candidates for the award of scholarships under the scheme is through a written test called YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST, and the NTA has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the same.

Purpose

Exam for selection of candidates belonging to OBC, EBC and DNT categories, studying in Class IX and Class XI for award of scholarship for studying in Top Schools identified by the MSJ&E.

Candidates who are desirous of appearing in the exam may read the detailed Information Bulletin and apply online only at https://yet.nta.ac.in between 11.07.2023 to 10.08.2023 (upto 11.50 p.m.)

In the year 2023-24, under this scheme, the bright students of Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC) and Non-Nomadic (DNT) castes studying in the institutes selected by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Union Government, studying in Stds 9 to 12, whose parents’ annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs. Up to a maximum of Rs.75,000 per annum and up to a maximum of Rs.1,25,000 per annum for students of Class 11 and Class 12 including school tuition fee and hostel fee. The information of the school-institution selected by the Ministry is available on the website https://yet.nta.ac.in.

Further, all the details have to be filled according to the Aadhaar card while filling the online form to take the exam under this scheme by any students. If the details are not filled as per Aadhaar card and any question arises then it will be the responsibility of that student.

Pen and Paper Mode (OMR Based) Examination Successful Entrance Test-2023 is going to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday 29th September-2023 for scholarship to the students of Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC), and Non-Nomadic (DNT) castes by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment of the Union Government. The medium of this examination will be English and Hindi. For which the students have to apply online on the website https://yet.nta.ac.in on the NTA Portal by 17th August-2023.

PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASASVI)) Umbrella Scheme for Top Class School Education for OBC, EBC and DNT Students has been implemented from the year: 2022-23. Successful Entrance Test-2023 is going to be conducted for the scholarship under this scheme. Only Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC), and Non-Nomadic Caste (DNT) students of Class 9 and Class 11 studying in a school/institute selected by the Ministry in the year 2023-24 have to apply online to get benefit under this scheme.

Candidates need not pay any exam fee for this exam.  Who are all eligible to apply?

PM YASASVI Scholarship Exam 2023

• Applicants should be Indian Nationals.
• Candidate should belong to OBC or EBC or DNT category.
• Candidate applying for Class 9 should be born between 01-04-2007 to 31-03-2011 (both days inclusive).
• Candidate applying for Class 11 should be born between 01-04-2005 to 31-03-2009 (both days inclusive).
• Income of the parents or guardian of the applicant should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum.
• Should be studying in Class IX or Class XI in the Identified Schools.
• Should have passed Class VIII or Class X during the academic year 2022-23.

Steps to Apply Online

Step 1:- Apply for Online Registration. Candidates are required to apply online at https://yet.nta.ac.in

Step 2:- Fill Online Application Form.

Step 3:- Submit Documents.

Documents

 Complete the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application Number. Upload legible scanned images of:

1. A recent photograph (in jpg/ jpeg file, size 10Kb – 200Kb) either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background;
2. Candidate’s signature (in jpg/ jpeg file, size: 4kb – 30kb);
3. Category Certificate ( in Pdf file size: 50kb – 300kb);
4. Income Certificate (in Pdf file size: 50kb – 300kb);
5. PwD Certificate ( in Pdf file size 50 kb-300 kb), if applicable.
6. Aadhaar card ( in Pdf file size 50 kb-300 kb)

Exam

Objective Type comprising 100 Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs)

2½ hours (150 minutes)
