Sir, under the above subject, to state that a two-day refresher training of Pragna approach for Std. 1 and 2 have been organized with training.  As a part of this plan, each district will write a class of 9 based on the number of Pragna teachers of Std. 1 and 2 in the district.  
The number of will have to be determined.  MTs will be trained by GCERT through Byseg in two articles per class.  E.g.  If the teachers of Std. 1 and 2 of the district are 20, then 10 classes will be done and for 10 classes 20 MT in two articles.

Paper pencil tests in written tests are most commonly used for reliable assessment of students in academic fields.  In such tests the content is mostly given more priority.  Therefore, teachers need to be acquainted to develop development-based questions instead of content/subject-based questions. 


 School assessment will be strengthened through the problem-solving, problem-solving, decision making life skills-based questions.  Cognitive skills will help improve, thereby strengthening school-based assessment.


The assessment will help teachers learn how each child can function, shorten his / her progress and respond to ensure further improvement.  In a way it is a comparison of children.  Evaluating children’s portfolios should be one that inspires every child, gives them confidence.  The purpose of the assessment is to identify children’s abilities and learning abilities. 


 In order to report a child’s progress, parents and children need to be informed about what the child can do, what abilities, skills he or she has, and what can be done for further progress and improvement.  Negative comments, general or vague statements need to be avoided.  Because it does not help or encourage children to learn and progress,
