Only literature approved by the educational authority authorized by the state government shall be used in schools.
Not to use any literature in primary and secondary schools which is not approved by the state level.
Some schools use manuals, textbooks, maps, experiment books, essays, etc. published by private publications. But do not use in schools any literature which is not approved by the state level.
Arrange the school schedule in such a way that students do not have to bring textbooks and notebooks of all subjects every day. To organize only three or four subject hours per day in which one subject has two consecutive hours. (Sample Schedule Appendix-4 is included herewith.)
Do not keep separate notebooks for homework and classwork that insist on the same notebook for the subject, which includes both classwork and homework.
As per Rule 126 of the Bombay Primary Education Rules, 1949, no homework is allowed in Std. 1 and 2. To give half an hour homework to children of standard 3 to 5 and one hour homework in standard 6 and 7 ‘. ‘Giving one hour homework even for standard-8. There is a provision that every school should implement.
Ideally give the child as much homework as the teacher can systematically check and correct. If the homework done by each child is checked with accuracy, the teacher will be motivated to give homework according to the rules automatically.
Have the essay written in the notebook of the subject (language) instead of a separate notebook of essay writing.
Adequate and proper drinking water facility for children in school so that children do not have to bring water bottles from home.
