Subject: – Regarding the celebration of National Voters ‘Day 2021, according to the above subject and context, to state that, as per the letter dated 11/01/2021 of the General Administration Department, the establishment day of Election Commission, New Delhi has been declared as “National Voters’ Day” by the Central Government.

  Every year on January 9, from the state level to the polling booth, “National Voters’ Day” is celebrated.  Emphasis has been laid on the promotion of various technological initiatives implemented by the government. Accordingly, a pledge letter has been issued as part of the celebrations of National Voters ‘Day-2021, which should be organized by all those present at the National Voters’ Day celebrations.

  English, Hindi and Gujarati copy of the Pledge of Allegiance is included herewith.  Must be established.  Considering the letter dated 11/01/2021 of the above general administration department, all the primary schools under your jurisdiction are asked to give necessary instructions in this regard.

 “We, the citizens of India, having abiding faith in democracy, hereby Pledge to uphold the democratic traditions of our country and the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections, and to vote in every election fearlessly and without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language or any inducement”.
