The Education Department of Gujarat Government has given instructions for regular attendance of children in primary schools along with making provision in the rules so that children do not go away from school and reduce the drop out ratio. According to this rule, if the child is absent for three days, seven days, ten days and fifteen days, twenty one days, from the teacher to CRC to bring him to school. The work has been assigned.
If the student is absent, the teacher, principal and CRC will have to visit the student’s home and parent and work to get the student back to school. However, if the student remains absent for 30 consecutive days, the student will be considered out of school and his/her name will have to be removed from the school register. However, it has been advised that the student’s name should be kept in the General Register until the parent seeks the School Leaving Certificate.

Children will be responsible for attendance
If the student is absent for three consecutive days, the teacher should inquire with the child from the area the child is coming from and get the information.
If the student is absent for seven days, the class teacher will have to go to the student’s home and visit the parent in person and arrange for the student to come to the school.
If the student is absent for ten days, the headmaster has to visit the home guardian of the child and arrange for the child to re-enter the school.
If the student is absent for fifteen days, the chairman of the arrangement committee will have to do the above.
If the student is absent for 21 days, C.R.C. The co-ordinator has to visit the home and make the student come to the school.
Even after such operations, if the child remains absent from school for 30 consecutive days, the name should be removed from the school attendance sheet, but the name should be kept in the General Register till the certificate of leaving the school is sought.
