Regarding this decision, the Education Minister said that keeping in view the situation of Corona in the state, as a precautionary measure, all the eight Municipal Corporations i.e. Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Surat, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Junagadh and Gandhinagar in all primary (Std. 10) and in higher secondary (Std. 11 and 12) schools, direct education work will be stopped from Friday, March 15, 2021 – online education – home learning will be given in the schools of this municipal area and the first examination will be taken online in secondary and higher secondary schools.
