Common Instructions:
Everyone working in the election must wear a face mask at every stage of the election and have to sanitize their hands from time to time. It will have to provide sanitizer, soap and water.
The temperature of every employee working during each phase of the election will have to be checked with a thermal gun.
Larger and more halls will have to be used for operations at each stage of the election as long as possible to maintain social distance.

The training site selected for the election work and each polling station must be sanitized before use. Sanitation should be carried out by the Municipal Corporation, District Panchayat, Taluka Panchayat and local bodies of the municipality under the guidance of the Nodal Health Officer.
As per the rules announced by the Central / State Government, spitting in public places as well as eating of leaves, gutka, tobacco etc. is prohibited and those who do not wear face masks will be penalized.
A sufficient number of additional vehicles will have to be arranged for the polling staff and their safety for the purpose of complying with the instructions of COVID-12.
Appointment and performance of Nodal Officer:
At the state level, the Additional Director (Public Health), Commissioner, Health Office is appointed as the Nodal Officer of the Health Department to monitor the progress of COVID-19 and its transmission throughout the election process.

At the district level, the Chief District Health Officer is appointed as the District Level Nodal Officer of the Health Department for monitoring the coVID-39 related arrangements during the election process and for preventive measures. He will have to maintain coordination with the Collector.
Municipal Corporation, District Panchayat, Nagarpalika, and Taluka Panchayat Area H COVID-19 shall be appointed as the Nodal Health Officer of the Corporation, District Surveillance Officer, and Taluka Health Officer respectively for the supervision of relevant arrangements and preventive measures during the entire election process.
The nodal officers of the health department will ensure that all necessary steps are taken to prevent Kovid-15 during the elections. The names and mobile phone numbers of these officers should be made available to all the officers/employees working in the election.
Appointment and training of polling staff:
Necessary arrangements should be made for temperature check with sanitizer, soap and water as well as thermal gun at the training site.
The use of masks will be mandatory for all persons attending the training.
The materials used in the training should also be sanitized and used.
The training of election officials should be conducted in large assembly halls by arranging seating arrangements in a decentralized manner to maintain social distance.
During the training of the polling team, the medical officer has to give the necessary understanding to the concerned health nodal officer about the COVID-12 guidelines. In which the polling team was given PPE. Demonstrate and understand how to wear and remove the kit. As well as the proper use of hygienic equipment to provide insights into health care precautions.
During the training of polling staff, the trainees should be called in session (batch) times keeping in view the seating capacity of the training venue. Training will have to be organized in a large hall. So that seating arrangements can be arranged according to the social distance. Will have to be configured.
Arrangement of Voluntary Rapid Test Organ of Polling Staff at the place of training
The District Electoral Officer / Returning Officer shall have to reserve a sufficient number of staff so that if any polling staff comes positive for COVID-15 or shows symptoms, another staff member can be placed in his place.
