Summer Camp Grishmotsav 2022 by GIET & GCERT

Private school children for all children from Std 1 to 8 will also be able to participate.

From 1st May 2022 (Gujarat Foundation Day) to 5th June 2022 (World Environment Day) for 36 consecutive days.

Summer Camp Grishmotsav by GIET & GCERT. The academic session is coming to an end now and after the exams are over, the children will have time only in summer vacation. How will our children spend this time? The idea of a summer festival arose sooner than I thought. The children of Std. 3 to 8 spend their time happily in Grishmotsav and they get activities for all round development.

This whole Grishmotsav is going to be online – offline. The activities that will take place in the summer will be fun for the children as well as for their family, keeping them away from excessive attachment of mobile, motivating them to do new experiments, bringing out the inner abilities of the child and bringing them closer to Indian tradition and culture.

Our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai Modi during his visit to Vidya Samiksha Kendra, Gandhinagar mentioned that there are advantages of technology, acquiring technology opens the door to a new world but digital as well as physical Development is necessary. Children’s social connection is enhanced by their involvement in field sports, their developmental and holistic development by playing sports and doing service activities and also doing group activities with the family.

This statement of our Prime Minister is to teach literate subjects connected with education, but sports, painting, music, social activities are also a part of holistic education. This is what we have woven in the summer festival. During the vacation, children will play daily desi games that we grew up playing in childhood but today’s generation has forgotten.

We will also provide activities to cultivate the heart as well as family spirit through artistic activities and competitions. We will also teach coding for computer education to develop the child’s reasoning and also knowledge of technology. We will also teach stories and nursery rhymes as well as how to make short films and plays.
