VAHALI DIKARI YOJANA

 

 

 The government has decided to implement the “VAHALI DIKARI YOJANA’ as follows.

 

1 To increase the birth rate of daughters,

 

2, To reduce the dropout ratio of daughters in education.  .

 

3.To empower daughters / POs in society.

 

4.Prevent child marriage.

 

 

Eligibility of Beneficiary

 

Daughters born on or after 02/08/2019 will be eligible for this scheme.

 

A maximum of two daughters of the couple will be eligible for the scheme.

 

Both the first and second daughter of the husband will be eligible for the benefit, but after the second daughter, the couple should have undergone fertility surgery.

 

 

 

 

If the first son and the second daughter have done it, the second daughter will be eligible for help.  But after the second daughter, the couple should have undergone contraceptive surgery.

 

With the exception of the first son and the second daughter (twins) or more, all daughters will be eligible for the benefit of the ‘existing daughter scheme’ but after the second daughter, the husband must have undergone contraceptive surgery.

 

 

 

 

Benefits to be received

 

VAHALI DIKARI YOJANA

 

first installment: when inrolment in std 1, Rs.  4000 / – will be recoverable.

 

Second Installment – when inrolment in std 9,  Rs. 6000  / – will be available.

 

Blow installment:- At the age of 18, total assistance of Rs. 1,00,000 / – will be available for higher education / marriage assistance.  But Dikri’s child should not be married
